Earlier this month, Senator John McCain tore his Achilles tendon, and he has been wearing an ankle boot ever since.
According to CNN, on November 6, John McCain’s office released a statement:
“Senator McCain was treated at Walter Reed Medical Center over the weekend for a minor tear in his right Achilles tendon, as well as for other normal and non-life-threatening side effects of cancer therapy. Senator McCain has returned to work in the Senate and will be wearing a walking boot until his injured tendon is fully healed.”
McCain has since then posted the following pictures onto his Twitter account.
One thing that immediately stands out: the boot is on the other foot.
You may be thinking that, one of the images is reversed, or that one of the images is photoshopped. However, neither is the case. Both pictures were posted directly to his Twitter account by the Senator, and there are many factors contributing to the fact that neither images are flipped. Most notably, his suit jacket’s buttons are on the right side in both pictures. If you are familiar with men’s suit jackets, the buttons are always on the right side.
To break it down further:
It’s quite obvious, at this point, that Senator McCain is lying about the tear in his Achilles tendon. So the question becomes: Why is he lying?
Some people speculate that he and Hillary Clinton, who has also been wearing an ankle boot for some time now, are both wearing ankle monitors. Many have theorized that they are both being indicted as a result of Mueller’s Russia probe (which has many indictments left sealed) or as a result of the Uranium One investigation.
If Senator McCain is wearing an ankle monitor, the question now becomes: Why did they switch his ankle monitor to the other foot?
